Meet the latest breakthrough
in luxury vinyl plank.
Antiquity is not ordinary LVP. It is next-generation flooring built around a major manufacturing shift: 3D digitally printed wood grain with real texture you can see and feel.
Most vinyl plank depends on a flat wood image under a protective surface. Antiquity uses Engineered Floors’ PureGrain® High-Def technology to print the wood visual directly into the plank system, then aligns the texture with the grain through EIR digital embossing. That gives the floor sharper detail, better depth, and a surface that feels much closer to real wood.
The realism does not fall apart once it is installed across a room. Antiquity has 35 unique plank visuals, so you do not keep seeing the same copied board every few rows. The floor has more movement, more variation, and a more natural hardwood-style layout from wall to wall.
It is also built for homes with dogs, kids, and real daily traffic. You get waterproof protection, a high-density rigid core, attached pad, matte Evertuff Clearcoat®, and a 30-year pet-scratch warranty — the kind of toughness real hardwood usually cannot give you. If you want waterproof flooring that looks good enough for a multi-million-dollar home and tough enough for a busy one, Antiquity is one of the first products we would show you.
- 35 unique plank visuals
- 30 mil equivalent surface protection
- 1.5mm attached pad
- Lifetime waterproof

Construction types
SPC vs WPC vs click-lock vs glue-down.
Rigid-core (SPC)
Stone-polymer composite. Hardest, most dent-resistant, best over uneven subfloors. Installs click-lock over almost any surface including tile and concrete.
Rigid-core (WPC)
Wood-polymer composite. Slightly softer underfoot than SPC, quieter to walk on, usually thicker. Good middle ground for residential.
Click-lock (floating)
Planks snap together and float over the subfloor — no glue needed. Fast install, removable if you ever need to.
Glue-down
Planks adhere directly to the subfloor. Feels more solid underfoot, stands up to heavier rolling loads. Required for commercial and some radiant-heat installs.

LVP FAQ
Before you commit.
What's the difference between LVP and LVT?
LVP is plank-shaped and prints wood looks. LVT is tile-shaped and prints stone, ceramic, or travertine. Same waterproof core technology — different visuals.
Is LVP actually waterproof?
Yes — the plank itself is 100% waterproof (PVC core). Note this is different from 'water-resistant' laminate. Caveat: if enough water gets underneath a floating LVP floor, the subfloor can still be damaged. For wet bathrooms we often recommend glue-down.
Can LVP go over existing tile or vinyl?
Yes, as long as the existing floor is flat, solid, and clean. Click-lock LVP is specifically designed for this — no need to demo the old floor in most cases.
Will it scratch?
LVP is more scratch-resistant than hardwood, but no flooring is fully scratch-resistant in real-world use. Wear layer thickness (12 mil = light residential, 20+ mil = pet-friendly) matters. We'll recommend a wear layer based on how you live.
How thick should my LVP be?
Most residential LVP is 4–8mm thick. Thicker doesn't always mean better — wear layer thickness and core quality matter more. A 6mm SPC with a 20 mil wear layer outlasts an 8mm WPC with 12 mil.
How much does new flooring cost?
Most whole-room carpet jobs run $3–$6 per square foot fully installed; LVP and LVT typically $6–$12; hardwood $10–$18. We give you a fully loaded quote in writing at the in-home consult so there are no surprises.
