Plush / Saxony
Smooth, uniform surface. The classic living-room carpet. Shows footprints and vacuum marks — that’s the look.
Textured / Trackless
Twisted fibers hide footprints, vacuum tracks, and normal wear. Our most-requested style for busy families.
Berber / Loop
Uncut loops for a clean, knobbly texture. Exceptional durability, great for basements and offices. Watch snags with pets.
Frieze
Tight curls that lay in random directions. Modern look, hides traffic patterns extremely well, trendy in media rooms.

Carpet FAQ

How much does new flooring cost?
Most whole-room carpet jobs run $3–$6 per square foot fully installed; LVP and LVT typically $6–$12; hardwood $10–$18. We give you a fully loaded quote in writing at the in-home consult so there are no surprises.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes. The installation crew moves standard furniture, pulls up old flooring, and hauls the debris away. We'll tell you upfront if anything (pianos, gun safes, large aquariums) needs special handling.
What's the warranty?
Manufacturer warranty on materials (varies by product, often 15–lifetime), plus our lifetime installation warranty on labor. We also include free professional carpet cleaning with every carpet purchase.
What carpet is best if I have pets?
Solution-dyed polyester or nylon with a stain-resistant treatment holds up best to accidents and cleaning. Textured or berber styles hide shedding better than plush. We'll talk through pet-proof options at the consult.
How often should I have carpet cleaned?
Professionally cleaned once a year, more often if you have pets or high traffic. We include free professional carpet cleaning with every carpet purchase — we come back and do it for you.
Do I need to replace the carpet pad?
Almost always, yes. Old pad loses its bounce-back, traps moisture and odors, and voids most manufacturer warranties on new carpet. A quality 6–8 lb rebond pad adds years to the carpet's life.
